The National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility (NCCARF) is holding a Practical Knowledge for Adaptation Briefing Session on May 31, 2017 from 12pm to 3pm at the SWCC/DAFWA Regional Office, 1 Verschuer Place, Bunbury.
This briefing session will introduce participants to a number of practical resources developed from the latest research in Australia. Topics include:
- Extreme climate events (heatwaves, floods, wind storms, bushfires).
- Building community resilience.
- Adaptive management for natural ecosystems.
- Finance, planning and engineering.
The session includes lunch followed by a short presentation and guided discussion.
